Program Education Committee

The program education committee develops the education programs of the chapter and identifies key issues/topics to be addresssed, selects, invites and follows up with faculty to ensure their participation, researches sites for events, maintains records of all events to report to ACHE for chapter records, creates promotional material to publicize the event and creates an annual budget for the committee.  This committee surveys the educational needs of the Chapter membership.

The membership committee creates an annual membership plan and conducts ongoing activities to recruit new ACHE members and retain existing members.  The membership committee will oversee the Chapter’s early careerist, mentoring and speaker’s bureau.

Advancement/Recognition Committee

The advancement/recognition committee creates an annual plan and conducts ongoing activities to advance ACHE affiliates to Fellow status.  This committee promotes activities to acknowledge the contributions of ACHE affiliates to healthcare management excellence through their volunteer service to their profession, their chapter and ACHE.

Finance Committee

The finance committee provides direction, review and control over the Chapter’s financial status and prepares and submits financial reports to the Board of Directors.  This committee prepares the annual budget and submits the budget to the Board of Directors for their approval and reviews and approves special budgets as the need arises.

Communications and Marketing Committee

The communications and marketing committee develops and implements communications that promote the Chapter within the local healthcare community and informs Chapter members and the healthcare community about upcoming Chapter events.  The communications and marketing committee surveys the membership to assist the Chapter leadership in identifying service needs and program opportunities.  The communications and marketing committee is responsible for the design and maintenance of the Chapter website and email services.

Outreach Committee

The outreach committee extends Chapter services throughout its service area by encouraging development of local program councils that conduct such Chapter business within a geographic area of teh Chapter territory as determined by the Chapter Board, including arranging and sponsoring educational and networking events.  The outreach committee promotes cooperative efforts with other locl professional associations to leverage the Chapter’s member services and programs and further its mission within the community.

Sponsorship Committee

The sponsorship committee is responsible for raising funds to support Chapter educational programs and membership activities through solicitation of grants, scholarship and event sponsorships.
